Britten Sinfonia's annual Family Music Day is taking place on Sunday 1 November at West Road Concert Hall in Cambridge from 11am to 5pm. This event has been hugely popular with audiences over the past few years and is a fun and informative way for families to learn more about how music is played and composed. Activities during the day include instrument-building, percussion, gamelan, and new for this year, singing workshops.
You don't need to have any prior musical knowledge or experience but if you do own an instrument and want to bring it along, that's great!
