It started as a joke. A local promoter putting on a DMS show used the tag line ‘…as seen on T4’. Not very funny you may ask but this was over a year ago. Who’d of thought he’d actually do it. Well, everyone, really. Plucked from obscurity to take part on T4s hangover cure ‘Musicool’, DMS and 9 other up and coming talents were chosen to take part in a regeneration of a musical and given a short amount of time to rehearse and then perform it live on stage and television.
Darren started long before that though in bands such as 8 Lives Left and Jacks Rage. Each one proving that the boy had a great presence, a true voice and some fantastic songs, definitely one to watch in the future. But the future is here. And DMS is now.
Teenage anthems served with an asbo and played on an acoustic bring DMS off of TV la-la land and back into our world but don’t expect him to be away for very long...
Just don’t ask him to dance.
