Joining resident singer/songwriter Bernard Hoskin tonight will be blues musicians Chris Newman and Myke Clifford.
CHRIS NEWMAN and MYKE CLIFFORD
An outstanding blues guitarist who started performing in the mid 70s, Chris has an impressive musical CV. He has been a member of the John Slaughter Blues Band, toured as support for the Climax Blues Band and been a member of the Soul Survivors with Vinnie Jones. In 2003 he played at the Cambridge Folk Festival with guitarist Eric Roche and harmonica player Steve Lockwood. He has recorded an acoustic tribute album to Rory Gallagher which got rave reviews and is now working on material for his own acoustic album.
Myke Clifford is one of Cambridge's most respected musicians having brought his talents on saxophone, flute, percussion and vocals to many of the city's finest bands for more than twenty years. He is also a compere at the Cambridge Folk Festival and at Glastonbury.
