PHIL WATTS and BEN MARVIN
Phil Watts is a singer/songwriter with a unique depth and creative style. With passionate melodies and strong heartfelt lyrics he lends a fresh and intelligent slant to a love song or makes thought provoking social comments with equal conviction.

His influences are drawn from the likes of: Billy Joel, Bob Dylan, Cat Stevens, Jeff Buckley, Paul McCartney and Chris Cornell but he adds a different perspective, edge and intensity to the new era of gifted male singer/songwriters like James Blunt, Daniel Powter, Damien Rice and David Gray. "Clarity" is Phil's first solo release, nine songs performed live which capture the essence and talent of a great singer-songwriter alone with an acoustic guitar.

He also fronts the rock band 68days co-writing their album with guitarist Ben Marvin and once again proving that he has immense ability to produce integrity, diversity and professionalism in any area of his work. His songwriting skills donxt end there either. Having written dance music that was aired all over Europe and a massive success in Ibiza it now features on the Ministry of sounds clubbers guide 2005.

ECKI
Although influenced by the likes of Ben Harper, John Martyn, Richard Thompson and Shawn Colvin, Ecki's songwriting is infused with a very distinctive flavour that's all its own. Originally from Bungay in Suffolk, Ecki consistently refuses to accept labels being placed on his brand of singer-songwriting, instead electing to realise his ideas and commit them to tape, beginning with his debut release, Punchdrunk. Such ideas have been perfected via gigs in and around London and his current hometown of Cambridge, together with performances at the Cambridge Folk Festival and for Tom Robinson and BBC 6 Music, and Punchdrunk captures the desire and spirit of such performances, as underlined by early reviews: "Ecki is clearly a man whose muse operates primarily in shades of blue but that includes open sky as well as dark, oceanic depths. A promising debut." - The Independent

BERNARD HOSKIN
Acoustic Routes' own resident singer/songwriter mixes his English songwriting with the rhythms of the world to create a highly distinctive and original sound. His song "Beneath The Waves" has been included on the compilation CD "Someone Was Calling" alongside tracks by Fairport Convention, Show of Hands, the Oysterband and many others. He has released 6 CDs and opened for people such as Bert Jansch, Martin Carthy, John Renbourn, Clive Gregson, Isaac Guillory, Phil Beer, Colvin Quarmby, The Bills and Decameron.
