Brian Harvey and Dave Oxley are local musicians who have played together in various bands. Now working as a duo, using double bass and percussion ['the acoustic face of drum and bass'] they perform a jazzy, blues-tinged set of mainly original songs.
PAMELA GIVENS
Pamela Givens sings a selection of jazz standards and original numbers in a soulful style that has been compared to of Sade, Cassandra Wilson, and Sarah Vaughan. Pamela's original songs are heartfelt and a bit quirky, and she's just released her first album called Tell Me A story, a funky, chill-out melting pot of jazz, acoustic, mellow funk, all stirred together and poured out into nine sometimes fun, at times mellow, at times emotional songs.
