A brand new event for Summer in the City 2007, the Live Music Marquee will see a range of live bands covering a range of sounds, playing live in the unique setting of the marquee on Jesus Green.
Kicking off the first of the new Live Marquee nights will be Latin American dance band Vivo Latino. Cuban violinist Gabriel Fonseca, vocalist Adriana Martyr and sensational percussionist Flavio Arias have played with some of the finest Latin musicians and together captivate audiences with the very best of Latin music - salsa, merengue, traditional Cuban music, cumbia, Latin pop and all the Latin favourites - perfect for a hot August night!
Support comes from Matoke, a unique Cambridge based African / blues / world music collective with a eclectic mix of Jazz, Cuban and Brazilian music.
