The son of a Jazz musician, Dave Angel has been one of the UK’s most prolific and successful electronic recording artists"One of the major talents in Britain" was how the NME described him after his first musical excursion the classic reworking of The Eurhythmics ‘Sweet Dreams’. Since this initial success Dave has continued producing and has had a string of releases on labels such as Island, Polydor and the legendary R&S. His ‘Tales of the Unexpected’ & ‘Globetrotting’ albums have been cited as Landmark albums within dance music and he has worked with and remixed artists such as Underworld, Roni Size, Orbital, DJ Krust, Carl Cox, the list goes on……He has won numerous awards and has played nearly every major festival , his unique mixture of funky techno tinged with disco winning him fans around the world. His label Rotation has been a mainstay in many DJ boxes. And tipping a nod to his Jazz Heritage (it runs in the family, his sister is Hip-Hop star Monie Love) he is currently putting the finishing touches to his third album which will be released this year through ELP, Germany, featuring tracks with Jazz legends Roy Ayers and George Clinton.
