The stresses of modern living can pull us into all sorts of shapes. This not only affects our co-ordination and mobility, it can also cause us discomfort and ultimately pain.

The Alexander Technique has been highly regarded by musicians, actors and other performers for many years. It is now becoming popular as an enlivening and practical skill that can relieve stress and prevent unnecessary tension. Whilst not a therapy, many people find a sense of well-being with improvements in areas such as mobility, co-ordination, breathing, circulation, performance and creativity.

This workshop is aimed at those who would like to learn more about the Alexander Technique and how it could help them. It will include practical demonstrations, a brief history of the Technique, games to demonstrate certain principles and time for questions.

Places are limited so advance booking is recommended.
