A chilled half-dayer/early start show featuring some of my favourite UK bands. Weather permitting there will be a chilled out BBQ in the Portland's snazzy yard with veggie and carnivore options. There will be a Record/CD stall run by Boss Tuneage Records - tons of bargains and hard to find punk/hardcore/emo stuff.

The bands kick off with JACKSHIT who play speedy and melodic pop punk, but these guys have been around in other bands for an age. Then it's Cardiff's BEDFORD FALLS who are highly melodic and poppy with emo flashes. Then it's the fabulous WIRELESS STORES who feature ex/members of BIVOUAC and SEND MORE PARAMEDICS. Superb indie rock with power and beauty. Totally lush band who everyone like upon hearing . THE LEIF ERICSSON (Manchester/Stoke) are up next, they played here last year to much acclaim - upbeat and high octane pop punk rock with big tunes... ex SPY VS SPY. Up next on their Cambridge debut are Preston's THE GREAT ST.LOUIS - awesome new band who mix up the styles of LEATHERFACE, SOCIAL DISTORTION and HOT WATER MUSIC - album even has a LEVELLERS cover! Finally, possibly the best example of powerhouse punk influenced rock in the country, MILLOY from Wakefield (Jusy signed to Household Name Records) - they played last Summer and were amazing. I personally could watch this band every week, they really are inspiring.
Last minute additions are the wonderful VANILLA POD who will bring much merriment and add some quality tuneage to the evening.

This will be a fun night and some cracking bands. £5.00 advance list at the Portland bar and £6.00 on the day unless you get there in time for the opening band.
