The Subhumans were from 80-85 one of the most respected bands in the UKs anarcho-punk scene, combining razor sharp lyrical perspectives with energised melodic twists in their music,that set them apart from run-of-the-mill punk
rock. They released 5 albums and 5 EPs which are still selling well 2 decades later. 3 ex-Subhumans formed Citizen Fish in 89, who are still going strong and reformed the Subhumans in 98. Since when they have been touring extensively.
A live album 'Live in a Dive' was released on Fat Wreck 3 years ago, which showed how undiminished by time their songs and energy are.
