Summer Sunday is the perfect way to spend a relaxing summer's afternoon. Specialising in the best world music around, the day consists of a fantastic array of live acts and entertainment including the following:

MAIN STAGE
Headlining the main stage are global beat band, Balkan Beat Box (pictured), a music collective fusing electronica and Eastern folk music. Their performances offer a riot of singers, dancers, MCs and video artists moving to the music of the Middle East via Bulgaria, North Africa and beyond! Joining them are Cambridge based African/Blues/World Music collective Matoke; reggae from Rightrak; Senegalese and UK fusion band Afrotema with their inimitable blend of reggae, Latin and African Jazz; Salsa from Columbian born Luis Lema; Afro-Rumba with touches of reggae, flamenco and cubao from Robert Maseko & The Congobeat and the irresistable North African grooves of Fantazia that are guaranteed to have you on your feet dancing.

FRINGE TENT
The Fringe Tent also promises to offer a diverse programme celebrating music from around the world. Compered by DJ Skunk, the tent will feature: samba from Cambridge Samba band Fruity Clave; Indian dance from Annapurna Indian Dance Company; demonstrations of the art of Capoiera, a form of Brazilian martial art and dance and Salsa sessions from Theodore Menelik-Mfuni.

TEA TENT
The Tea Tent will also be in action with demonstrations of Flamenco, Sevillanas and Egyptian dancing alongside storytelling from Indian Dance Group Annapurna and of course an array of refreshments.

FILM
A FREE solar powered cinema will be screening short environmental films (for full info click here. Also, as part of the 27th Cambridge Film Festival at 9.30pm there will be a free open air screening of the Hammer House of Horror classic Dracula.
Plus there's the much-loved French market, food from around the world, fairground rides and the bar marquee.
