Programme: Lambert - The Rio Grande; RamÃrez - Misa Criolla; Brahms - Liebeslieder Waltzes
with Andrew Parnell conductor, pianists Thanea and Maurice Hodges and a percussion Ensemble led by Will Sivier.
The summer is a great time to celebrate, wind down and take in a whole range of joyful experiences. Many travel to far-off parts to soak up the sun we are unlikely to see here. Some want to immerse themselves in foreign and exotic cultures. Others just want to get away from it all to a familiar spot. Think no further – this concert on 7th July has all of the above. In the familiar and relaxing surroundings of the Hayward Theatre, there is much to fire your imaginations without leaving Ely.

• Ely Youth Choir can transport you to New Orleans and Africa

• and the balmy, sultry night air will intoxicate you in Brazil while you listen to The Rio Grande
