“Drawing in blue ink the world as I see it. To be amazed each day by its beauty. Capturing the reflection of light on the water, on nature and the things that surround me. To retrace the paths that I take, the places I discover. To write and tell stories. This is what I strive to do each day, with watercolor on paper, as simply and honestly as possible. In this serie of seascapes, I wanted to share the feeling of beauty and peace that lay on the horizon.â€
Garance Monfort grew up in France in a family of artists.
Life, travels and discovering the world, from Ireland to Australia, always drawing and writing, Garance settled in 2014 in Cambridge UK, where she currently lives and works as a French teacher, and a design and technology assistant at St John’s College School.
