The new-look David Attenborough Building opens its doors to the public for the first time this March for an art exhibition that celebrates the pioneering partnership between the University of Cambridge and the Cambridge Conservation Initiative.

International artists Ackroyd & Harvey present the premiere of new mixed media artworks as part of a series of commissioned works awarded by the University of Cambridge. The exhibition explores ideas relating to conservation, biodiversity and human ecologies, and draws inspiration from the Museum of Zoology’s collection and global work undertaken by the Cambridge Conservation Initiative.

The exhibition is part of the University of Cambridge’s Science Festival (7-20 March), which also features talks by the artists and family events in the David Attenborough Building.
