On the 11th October 2014 the Missing Sock, Cambridge will be hosting the first values based UK Kindness Festival in its backyard. Do you believe that the world should be a kinder place? Want to make a real difference for people? Help life-changing organisations? ...and have a lot of fun?! All in aid of respite for carers.
This is a festival is for everyone, all ages, cultures, shapes and sizes. Whether you’re looking for a family fun day out or you’re an aspiring social entrepreneur, be part of a full day of fun, entertainment and acts of kindness throughout the day.
What we have lined up:
• A networking breakfast for social entrepreneurs and inspirational talks and presentations running throughout the day
• Fun hats and colourful paraphernalia encouraged, live music (featured Artist to be announced)
• Relay freedom dance marathon
• Workshops on healthy body and mind
• Children’s arts and crafts, games, mural creation
• Scrumptious variety of healthy food stalls
• Eco demonstrations and participation
• Mass samba drumming
• Yoga and Tai Chi communal classes
• An evening of interactive music, dance, fire pow-wows, bring an instrument!
