Yes. We've finally got a time and a place. It's a Saturday too. Whoohoo!
****So here is the deal.****
This is an open invite to all vinyl heads. Bring down your top 10 12" rubs (records/ vinyl) and spin them.
I'm trying to keep this on a deeper tip but pretty much anything goes. Excluding trap/dubstep/gabba/cheese. Sorry no teisto or sigma sounding stuff.
You get times on the night. Once you've played your ten tunes your done, you can leave or stay, your choice. If there is only a few DJ's on the night we will have a vinyl off. (Think of a dance off, breakdance style) The audience can decide the winner with cheers or dancing for each tune dropped. Winner won't receive anything but the kudos of knowing they are the best.
So who's in? should be a fun bash and as ever it's the ever lovely surroundings of the Fountain. Oh and if you know of any MC's who could come down and do the intro's that would be awesome.
If your interested please post on the wall and get involved. If it goes well there will be more and that's only a good thing.
