Exploring the stories, culture and history of the Russian North, this exhibition looks at the City and Region of Magadan from its Communist past to its vibrant present. Combining images from two outstanding Russian photographers, Pavel Zhdanov and Andrey Osipov, and artefacts collected by Professor Lawrence H. Khlinovski Rockhill and Dr Elena Khlinovskaya Rockhill, the exhibition will intrigue and inform, revealing features of the region and its people through emotive photographs and evocative objects.
