Initially you will learn to make a small stained glass panel using copperfoiling technique. This will include learning basic glass cutting , how to follow a pattern for stained glass, copper foiling and soldering techniques, as well as some help in developing and making your own designs. Students will use coloured glass and will not be involved in painting it or firing. By the end of the first day, you will have made a colourful glass sun catcher or small stained glass window of roughly 15cm x 15cm .

If you have some experience you will make a more complicated and larger design than the beginners and learn more difficult glass cutting, as well as other ways in which the copperfoiling technique can be used. By the end of the day, you will have made a more complicated and different colourful glass sun catcher or small stained glass window of roughly 20cm x 20cm
Tools and materials are provided but there will be a cost for materials of £8.00 for beginners and £13.00 for those making more complicated pieces. Please bring own lunch.
