Support We're All Neighbours
As a non-profit 'spare time' project, we're always looking for encouragement here at We're All Neighbours HQ.
The following are just a few ways you can chip in, if you feel like it of course...
- Use the site
- Tell other people about the site
- Link to us
- Get involved
- Post images if you can
- Give us feedback
- Give us money
Use the site
Seem's obvious doesn't it? But, really, use the site. The more content the better. The better quality the content the better. Sell that old spice rack that's been kicking about in the cupboard for the last three years. Shout about your first gig down the Portland Arms.
Tell other people about the site
Closely linked to the above. The more people using the site (and they have to know about it to use it) the more people there are who might buy that spice rack, or boo you off the stage at the Portland. Maybe stick our URL on your flyers, in return for all that free advertising on We're All Neighbours?
Link to us
If you run a website and it's kinda Cambridge focussed in some way, or you think your users might be interested in We're All Neighbours... Then a link is just super.
Get involved
In 2004 we tried setting up the We're All Neighbours 'Working Group'. About six people signed up for it and we had a meeting. Then we let the pan off the boil or something, but if people get in touch and let us know that they'd like to get involved, maybe we'll resurrect it.
Post images if you can
We're got the slightly odd idea of trying to break even by charging users to view images. No one will sign up for an image account (when we finally wire it up) if there's no images to look at.
Give us feedback
Just let us know what you think. If you've got a success story from the site then tell us about it. It's always nice.
Give us money
This website takes time and some money to run. In the end we're aiming for it to be self-sustainable, and this means at least paying for the hosting. So if you're loaded and fancy being a sugar daddy... Well, we'd be fools if we didn't accept.
